Teachers for Kids Foundation Distributes Record Number of Back-to-School Kits

Teachers for Kids Foundation set a new record this September, distributing 150 complete back-to-school supply kits to students in need across Peterborough County. Each kit included notebooks, pens, pencils, binders, a calculator, and a new backpack.

"Every child deserves to walk into school on the first day feeling prepared and confident," said the Teachers for Kids Foundation coordinator. "When a student has the right tools, they're ready to learn."

The initiative was made possible through generous donations from local businesses and individual donors throughout the summer fundraising campaign.
